How our text messaging works, how you opt in, and how to opt out.

The Roadnomics Ride Line is a small, personal car service operated by Michael O'Hearn,
a sole proprietor based in Massachusetts. Roadnomics is the trade name Michael operates under and
roadnomics.com is his website. Michael is the driver — when you text this line, you are
texting him directly.
We use SMS text messaging so customers can request, arrange, and confirm rides directly with the driver. All messages are read and sent by a person — there is no chatbot, auto-responder, or bulk/marketing messaging.
We do not send marketing, promotional, or bulk messages of any kind.
You opt in by texting us first. When you text our published business number
(781) 667-7828 to ask about or book a ride, you are giving consent to receive ride-related
text messages from us about that request. That first message you send is what starts the conversation —
it is the only way this program will ever text you.
We do not add numbers any other way. We never buy, rent, or upload phone-number lists, and we do not collect numbers from verbal requests, paper forms, or web forms. We only reply to people who text us first.
Program disclosure. By texting (781) 667-7828 you agree to receive ride booking and service text messages from the Roadnomics Ride Line (Michael O'Hearn). Message frequency varies — typically 2 to 8 messages per booked ride. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.
(781) 667-7828.Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We collect only your phone number, your messages with the driver, and the ride details you provide, and we use them solely to arrange your rides. We never sell or share your information, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
